September 29^th & 30^th Second Grade Parent Note:

Congratulations to all the second grade children who came forward during Mass this weekend to receive their blessing during our Pledge Commitment weekend. Father wants all Pledge Commitments turned in for those of you who were not at Mass this weekend.

The teachers introduced the Act of Contrition to the class today and explained that this prayer tells God how sorry we are for our sins and that we will try really hard not to sin again.

The children are also listening to the continuing story each week “Today I Made My First Reconciliation.” Please ask your child what happened in the story each week. By the time your child makes his/her First Reconciliation, the children in the story will have gone through Reconciliation also.

Reminder: Required Parent Meeting with Fr. Len in the Church for Reconciliation/First Communion will be on Sunday, November 9^th at 12:15pm in the Church.
